In 2004, Tumalo Langlauf Club and the Bend Metro Park and Recreation District entered into a partnership to mutually support each other. We are thankful for their support and expertise. The BMPRD provides preventive maintenance and storage for our Pisten Bully 130 groomer and in turn we provide grooming at Meissner Sno-Park to support their youth ski program, Bend Kids Ski League and their adult ski instruction programs. In addition, we provide a snowmobile and grooming equipment for BMPRD to groom Skyline and Shevlin Parks when there is sufficient snow in town.

We are indebted to our partners, Deschutes National Forest - Bend and Fort Rock District, who recognize the recreational benefits of groomed ski trails at Meissner Sno-Park for the Central Oregon ski community. As we move forward to build a community ski area at Meissner Sno-Park we will work closely with the recreation staff and District Ranger of the Bend and Fort Rock District.
SUNNYSIDE SPORTS- Lead Gift in Meissner Fundraising Campaign

We are especially grateful for the generous gift of $10,000 from Sunnyside Sports and its owners: Don Leet, Kathy Gault and Gary and Susan Bonacker. Sunnyside Sports has supported the grooming effort at Meissner Sno-Park since the beginning of the Tumalo Langlauf Club in 1996. Their three-year pledge of $10,000 is the lead gift in the Meissner Fundraising Campaign.
Funds from the campaign will go toward the grooming operation for the next three years and to build the Meissner Community Ski Area. Please take the time to thank Don, Kathy, Gary and Susan for the generosity and support of TLC and the ski trails at Meissner Sno-Park.
