Becoming a member of the Tumalo Langlauf Club IS showing your support for the nordic community of Central Oregon and the grooming operations that occur from December through April at the Virginia Meissner Snowpark. In recent years the TLC has made incredible achievements at Virginia Meissner by expanding the trail system, enlarging the parking lot and the building of the new Meissner Shelter. Most recently the TLC purchased a fabulously conditioned Bombardier 400 Snowcat to provide us with exceptional, consistent grooming for both classic and skating. This machine is more efficient, costing us less to fuel and maintain on a regular basis. These achievements could not have been possible without the membership and the generosity of our community in support of the Meissner Project.
Our current goal is to increase grooming to four times a week, which gives the community grooming access to incredible cross country skiing just 15 minutes away from Bend. We can not do this without your support. Remember, it costs $14-$17 a day to cross country ski at the resort. How much is skiing at Meissner worth to you? Grooming currently costs us approximately 1,800$ a week for up to 18 or more weeks a season. This community asset not only benefits skiers, it also benefits our parks and recreations programs, COCC and our local schools and competitive cross country ski teams. So if grooming at Virginia Meissner is important to you and your family, become a member or simply make a donation on our website or at the trailhead. Membership not only supports this wonderful endeavour, but it also give you access to club functions such as community skiing comaraderie, movie night, Luminaria Ski, Waffle feeds, Tour De Meissner and volunteering for a variety of activities that help benefit our club.

Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Outdoor adventures by their very nature are inherently dangerous and involve some degree of risk. I am aware
that participating in the Tumalo Langlauf Club’s outings may expose me to certain risks and dangers including,
but not limited to the hazards of mountainous, aquatic, or wilderness terrain, accident, illness, the forces of
nature, and travel to and from the trailhead or point of departure. I am aware that it is not possible to foresee
all of the potential hazards of outdoor activities. Each participant in a Nordic activity is responsible for his or her
decisions.
To the best of my knowledge, I feel physically and mentally able to assume full participation in the outings of
activities in which I will participate.
I understand that the Tumalo Langlauf Club is a volunteer organization. In consideration of voluntarily participating
in these outings, trips, or activities, I have and do hereby assume all the risks inherent in these activities
and hold harmless the Tumalo Langlauf Club and its agents, tour leaders, officers, and instructors, from and
against any and all claims, liability, and demands of any nature, for the acts or omissions of the Tumalo Langlauf
Club or its agents, tour leaders, officers, or instructors.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE STATEMENTS CONCERNING THE TUMALO LANGLAUF CLUB’S
PROGRAM.
Each member and each household member must sign the TLC Liability Waiver. A parent or guardian must
sign the form for members under 18 years of age.
By clicking "Accept", each member and each household member agrees with this Liability Waiver.
